LIQUIFI – FFT Scrambler & Harmonizer + IGNITA Sampler/exciter
WHAT’S IN THE BOX :
– LIQUIFI is a collection of presets built around a “glitch/ambient” effects processor for REAKTOR 6. It combines real-time spectral resynthesis with a polyphonic pitch corrector and reverb, all brought to life by a sophisticated automation system to create dynamic sound designs.
– IGNITA is a simplified virtual sampler synth featuring a granular synthesis engine and an aleatory (random) sample launching system. It is specifically designed to function as an audio exciter and source companion for LIQUIFI, generating a constantly changing stream of unique sounds.
REQUIREMENTS
- Built with and for the modular audio development software Reaktor 6 (by Native Instruments). This patch is delivered in “ensemble” format (.ens) which is proprietary to REAKTOR.
- a MAC or a PC with a FULL version of Reaktor 6.5.0 (CAUTION: the .ens is not encrypted for Reaktor Player).
- a screen resolution with a minimum of 1920 x 1200 megapixels.
LIQUIFI+IGNITA is not compatible with REAKTOR PLAYER. For an unlimited experience with the instrument you need a full version of REAKTOR 6

Unleash a world of new sonic dimension and liquid soundscapes with LIQUIFI & IGNITA, a modern synthesis station that brings together spectral transformation and a serendipitous collection of random tones.
A dedicated combo for sound exploration with 70 tones/presets.
What LIQUIFI is ?
With LIQUIFI, the audio signal is sculpted and transformed into a malleable, or even completely fluid, sound material. It has the unique characteristic of producing a “frozen” sound, as if chopped or deconstructed.
The stereo input is immersed in a radical process to create “liquefied” textures, artifacts, and other types of degradation. While the “phase vocoding” process is typically used to treat vocals, here its autotune invites you to harmonize different types of sound sources (chords, drums, acoustic loops, noises, etc.).
It is itself controlled by a note modulation system for an even more “singing” result. This device excels at creating stutter/freeze and glitch effects, with characteristics that can be both raw or harmonic depending on the settings.

The Heart of LIQUIFI: FFT and Pitch Correction.
The device deconstructs and captures the entire “fog” of frequencies, intensity, and components of an audio signal using an FFT algorithm. This data is used to drive a sinebank that resynthesizes the sound.
This spectral reassignment process allows for the application of sound texture transformation effects, such as spectral granulation, while preserving the characteristics of the original signal. This process enables harmonic smoothing or robotization effects.
Furthermore, this frequency data is then “quantized” according to a chosen scale from 24 models. This acts as a powerful polyphonic autotune, providing a very contemporary sound design for harmonically doubling your sound sources.
A Tool Focused on Real-Time Use
What makes LIQUIFI particularly interesting is the palette of modulations and automations assigned to numerous parameters, which enhances the playability of the device. A virtual trackpad allows you to control the
resynthesized frequencies through short sequence of modulation and bring variations of quantized notes based on the selected scale.
In addition, a virtual keyboard allows you to trigger and record “punch-in effect” events to launch processes like quantized pitch-shifting, filtering, sound smoothing effects, or scale changes.
The audio signal is animated and re-contextualized in this often “liquid” blend, mixing spectral processing, animated reverb, and digital degradation (low bit rate). LIQUIFI can thus make any sound source “sing”: drums,
acoustic instrument loops, vocals, synth pads, or even noise.
The use of LIQUIFI is designed to be “real-time friendly” and to create “living” and dynamic sound environments, offering maximum expressiveness for sound design and live performance (despite the slight latency imposed by an FFT algorithm).

A Rich Sound Palette for Creation
By combining spectral resynthesis, harmonic correction, an animated reverb, all the modulations, and its virtual control keyboard, LIQUIFI offers a surprising and highly varied timbral experience depending on the sources it is fed, even on a master bus.
The audio signal becomes a liquid material that you can sculpt to get unexpected results, such as harmonic drones, simulations of defective broadcast systems (Lo-fi), re-contextualizing, re-filtering, or random glitch and interference effects.
Spectral resynthesis makes sounds seem to transform into a fluid material, and with this device, it’s nearly possible to simulate MP3 compression loss.
LIQUIFI’s sound can be harsh and irreverent, bordering on defective, but that’s precisely what gives it character. This tool can also be useful for adding original color and grain to certain sequences, and for creating subtle transitions. The 100 available presets and the micro-sonic environments they generate can suggest a vast field of possibilities for exploration and musical creation.

IGNITA is a simplified and hybrid version of the AETONZ° virtual sampler synth. It’s samely designed to play poly harmonic textures, only featuring here the original granular synthesis engine without any additional effects, but maintaining its unique aleatory sample launching system. This makes it a dedicated audio exciter and source companion for LIQUIFI, providing various waveform transitions and a rich sonic color palette.
What makes IGNITA a powerful and original sound design tool is its “lottery of sounds” workflow. It leverages its sample launching system ( a random sample on each gate events) and a virtual XY pad, which allows you to navigate through 208 snapshots, giving you a powerful way to instantly switch between unique presets in a single sequence. This makes the entire process one of pure serendipity.
Using two merged sampler signals, the engine employs a unique process that rearranges embedded classic analog, digital, and acoustic tones.
It generates evolving keyboard layouts, subliminal background textures, and back-layer sounds, producing fascinating soundscapes and experimental timbres.
The sound is in a constant state of flux and is always moving, but the harmony remains still. This dynamic process ensures that every result is different, ranging from weird and unexpected to rich and atmospheric…
In short, it seems alive!
Coupled with LIQUIFI in this package, the combo forms a truly modern synthesis design station.
This combined workflow is a direct dedication to “collage” musics such as GLITCH electronica, and more precisely to the intricate sonic tapestries found in Botanica, Petalcore, Vaporwave, and Hyperpop subgenres.
As a contemporary exploration on spectral synthesis, it’s perfect for laying down a base of inspiration or bringing a fresh, unconventional voice to your compositions.
INSTRUMENT EXCLUSIVELY INCLUDED IN “LIQUIFI” PACKAGE WITH THE “LIQUIFI_IGNITA” COMBO ENSEMBLE, A PLAYABLE COLLECTIONS OF 70 PRESETS.

LIQUIFI + IGNITA – UPDATE 1.1:
Extended Sample Editing Control and Detailed Adjustments for DECKs 1 and 2 (IGNITA sampler)
Update 1.1 introduces significant enhancements to IGNITA sample editing, giving users control over sound manipulation.
This update directly addresses the needs of users working with custom sounds, making it easier to integrate and fine-tune their own custom samples into the engine.
Key Features in Version 1.1
The core improvement focuses on enabling and expanding editing capabilities within Panel B for both Sample DECKs (1 and 2).
Users can now access a new editing interface to make fine and detailed adjustments, including dedicated control over:
* Loop Control: Precise definition of Loop Start and Loop Length.
* Selection and Navigation: Sample Selector control for navigating through the map of samples loaded in the engine.
* Pitch and Time Manipulation: Dedicated controls for Speed (for direction and non-pitch-altering speed changes), Octave, Semitones, and Fine Tune.
Additionally, a crucial Lock Snapshot command is now available. This command prevents accidental preset selection while users are actively editing the two DECKs, securing their work in progress.
The 1.1 Update is available as of November 2025 and is recommended for all users.
