LIQUIFI + IGNITA – UPDATE 1.1
Extended Sample Editing Control and Detailed Adjustments for DECKs 1 and 2 (IGNITA sampler)
Update 1.1 introduces significant enhancements to IGNITA sample editing, giving users control over sound manipulation.
This update directly addresses the needs of users working with custom sounds, making it easier to integrate and fine-tune their own custom samples into the engine.
Key Features in Version 1.1
The core improvement focuses on enabling and expanding editing capabilities within Panel B for both Sample DECKs (1 and 2).
Users can now access a new editing interface to make fine and detailed adjustments, including dedicated control over:
* Loop Control: Precise definition of Loop Start and Loop Length.
* Selection and Navigation: Sample Selector control for navigating through the map of samples loaded in the engine.
* Pitch and Time Manipulation: Dedicated controls for Speed (for direction and non-pitch-altering speed changes), Octave, Semitones, and Fine Tune.
Additionally, a crucial Lock Snapshot command is now available. This command prevents accidental preset selection while users are actively editing the two DECKs, securing their work in progress.
The 1.1 Update is available as of November 2025 and is recommended for all users.
How to Load Your Own Samples into the Two Decks
/////////////////////////////////////////////////
Here is the procedure for loading your own samples into the two decks.
Note: The two decks are actually two distinct “resynth” engines, each prepared to receive up to 115 samples. The two original banks provided are identical, but you can load different sample configurations into each, effectively doubling your total capacity to 230 samples.
To do this:
1- Click on the “Show Sample Map Editor” button in Reaktor (also accessible by pressing the F6 command).
2- Select one of the Maps.
The list of existing samples will appear in a list and aligned on the virtual keyboard.
3- Select one of the samples, click “Replace,” and choose a sample from your collection.
4- Set the “Root Note” to the value “60.”
5- Click on “Waveform” and check the boxes for “Loop,” “Release,” and “Phase Align.”
6- Repeat the same operation for every sample you replace.
Note on Batch Import:
Another way to proceed is to import 115 samples in a batch. However, you must ensure that they are all aligned on a single, unique note (from 0 to 114) on the virtual keyboard. Here again, do not forget to set the “Root Note” to 60 for all the samples, and check “Loop” for each waveform (see the step-by-step procedure described above).
